HGV Class 1 Driver

Due to continued growth with a leading logistics company in Felixstowe, Suffolk we are urgently seeking to recruit for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to work all year round on left-hand drive vehicles.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.You would be working with 2 main ports – Immingham & Felixstowe.Picking up curtainsider trailers from ports and delivering to clients and/or reloading at clients across the UK.Usually between 1-2 trailers per day.This position is permanent through our agency and work is available all year round.SHIFTS Monday to Friday shifts with odd nights out (£25 per night out paid if not stayed inside of one of our yards) weekend work available if wanted.LTD/SELF-E/UMBRELLA- £200.00 per day PAYE- £155.00 per day REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE Experience – minimum 6 months experience; Left-hand drive experience preferred, but not required as training will be provided; Qualifications and Licences – Driving Licence with CE category, CPC Qualification Card, Tachograph Card; Always be professional and have a positive attitude towards customers; Basic understanding and speaking English; IN RETURN OUR CLIENT CAN OFFER Assigned your own Mercedes truck; 24/7 duty contact; Training prior to starting (paid £100.00 per day)- amount of days required will be dependant on experience; Weekend work available; Equipped yard; Referral scheme; BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR ARC Working with one of East Anglia/South leading Recruitment agencies with 16 years within the marketplace who recruit for many of the region's leading companies; In a recent survey 96% of our clients stated ARC are their preferred agency labour supplier; Paid annual leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday); Weekly pay – with a 1 hour pay resolution guarantee; On-going assignments; Free access to our HealthAssured scheme for you and your family; Access to Free online training; If you are interested in this position, please apply with your CV and one of our experienced consultants will contact you."REFERRAL SCHEME- Refer a driver that completes 20 shifts & get rewarded You get £200 for referring & the driver receives £100 for joining Get referring" ARC GROUP LTD – “DRIVING STANDARDS FORWARD”d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
