Our geography spans fromCornwall in the south, to Gloucestershire in the north and Dorset in the Eastcovering a total population of around five million, across approximately 22,000square kilometres.We aim to treat people as close to home as possible, in the least levelof security, for the shortest period of time, to high quality outcomes.Main duties of the jobThis is a senior leadership role within the commissioning division,reporting directly to the South West Provider Collaborative Deputy Director ofCollaborative Commissioning and working closely with colleagues including asecond Head of Service and Senior Case Managers. The post holder will take direction from the DeputyDirector of Collaborative Commissioning on a day-to-day basis in order to deliverthe commissioning of high-quality care for patients requiring specialist mentalhealth services across the south west of England.This is a transformational role, working with a high degree ofautonomy, at-pace, and at-scale, across multiple stakeholders, and requires acreative mind-set, excellent leadership skills, and an application of wholesystems working.
