We're looking for an experienced corporate banking professional with a strong track record in the SME space, delivering lending, deposits, and tailored banking solutions to businesses with turnovers between £3m-£25m. You'll focus on building new-to-bank relationships, working with key introducers, and managing a diverse portfolio to drive growth across a wide range of sectors.ResponsibilitiesDrive growth in income, balance sheet, and client numbers while managing associated risks.Manage a portfolio of SME clients, with a focus on Manufacturing, Wholesale, and Consumer sectors.Originate and develop high-profile client relationships, acting as a strategic partner and delivering value at every interaction.Proactively identify and secure new opportunities, offering tailored banking solutions across lending, deposits, and more.Provide leadership within the region-supporting the Area Director, mentoring colleagues, and investing in your own development.Represent Lloyds in the market, building strong external networks and partnerships, supporting ESG strategies and clients' journey to Net Zero.QualificationsPrior experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking with a proven track record delivering results.Proactive in developing relationships and building partnerships with clients & passionate about supporting their current and future needs.Strong business origination experience with the ability to demonstrate how you’re wired into local networks with extensive connections in the professional space and use these for business development opportunities.Proven credit experience and skilled at evaluating propositions and using that experience to make confident and effective commercial recommendations to the Credit team.Strong communication skills with experience in building, creating and maintaining relationships with clients and influential external partners.About working for usOur focus is to ensure we’re inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
