You will work with digital engineering tools in a collaborative environment.Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.Role DescriptionWe are growing our Urban Highways team in Scotland and are seeking a Senior Design Engineer / Principal Engineer to assist in the delivery of Urban Highways and Active Travel Infrastructure.Role AccountabilitiesUrban Highways / Active Travel / Sustainable Travel focused engineering design and design managementCommercial, programme and quality management of projectsMentoring engineers, technicians and apprentices to assist with development of skills within the teamManaging work undertaken through Global Excellence Centres in IndiaAssisting with business development through tenders, proposals and client presentation (internal and external clients)Qualifications and ExperienceCareer driven to assist with succession planning. The candidate would be a Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer keen to progress to the next levelCEng / IEng status or verifiable progress towards CEng / IEng statusAble to manage a portfolio of Active Travel / Sustainable Travel projects at varying stages of development and with different clientsCan clearly demonstrate sound experience of urban highway design and design managementCAD and 3D modelling skills in a BIM environment will be an advantageCan demonstrate sound experience of working for local authorities and/or developers and show an understanding of their objectives and key performance indicatorsGood coaching and staff supervision skillsCommercial awareness to assist with profitable delivery of projectsWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
