Job Introduction We are currently recruiting a high achieving Senior Workshop Manager for ourVolvo Dealership based in Worcester.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.The hours of work are Monday- Friday, 08:00- 18:00.In every aspect of our dealerships our aim is always to exceed customer expectation.Benefits include a basic of up to £42,000 and OTE of £48,000, plus a company car & benefits.The Senior Workshop Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum productivity in the workshop, liaising between Service Advisors and Technicians, ensuring that all required work is actioned effectively and efficiently.This a real hands on role and you will be joining the senior management team at Volvo Worcester.You will be reporting directly into the Head of Business & Divisional Aftersales Manager and be responsible for the workload between 3 Service Advisors and 10 Vehicle Technicians.Role and Responsibilities To ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the Service department.Managing the smooth running and day to day activity of the Workshop Team within the Service Department.To maximise departmental performance in line with market potentials through the sale of labour, parts and accessories.To ensure that all manufacturers policies and procedure are adhered.Planning, forecasting and delivering sales targets.Managing and development of the workshop team.Growing Workshop utilisation and efficiency.Exceeding Customer satisfaction.About you This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Manager, Assistant Service Manager or as an Service Manager within a franchised dealership and is looking to Listers for better career and reward opportunities.Unlimited confidence, resilience, drive, energy and talent.A well-presented individual with a desire, character and attitude to succeed.The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is essential.What we offer 33 days holiday including bank holidays Company Pension Wellness Programme Sick Pay Group life insurance Staff discount on car servicing Listers Benefits discounts on retailers, restaurants, cinemas & holidays Long service and loyalty incentives Staff referral scheme In-house, manufacturer & professional qualifications Free Parking / On-site Parking Company Events Why Listers?
