Job OverviewThe following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.The successful candidate will join Partner Samuel Hill, who has extensive experience supporting clients affected by serious and life‑changing medical negligence. Sam specialises in complex cases including birth injuries, surgical errors, mental health negligence, and fatal claims, often involving inquests. Recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, Sam is known for his empathetic and strategic approach, helping clients and their families navigate difficult circumstances with care and clarity. He is committed to improving patient safety and has led national campaigns, including advocating for standardised suicide risk assessments across the NHS. You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while also assisting senior team members with more complex, high‑value cases. You'll handle cases from start to finish, using your commercial and analytical skills to identify key issues and propose practical solutions for our clients. Whenever possible, you will aim to secure interim payments to facilitate rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before claims are concluded.
