Vice President – Securitised ProductsPlease read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.Location: London, EMEA, MizuhoWe are looking for a VP to join our EMEA Securitised Products team in London.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the origination, structuring and execution of private (on balance sheet) and public securitisations and balance sheet solutions across a broad range of asset classes.Prepare presentation and marketing materials with significant technical detail.Support transaction structuring and execution of private/warehouse and public transactions.Support in, and to some extent independently lead, the development of analytical tools and the team’s models.Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.Assist with day‑to‑day operational tasks of the desk, including management of insiders lists, updating databases, liaising with compliance and legal, and organising regular internal and external meetings for the business.Proactively contribute to the overall development of the Securitised Products.Ultimately lead transaction execution, rating agency discussions (as appropriate) and internal approvals processes.Qualifications, Skills, and Experience4-5 years’ securitisation/structured products experience in a front office role.Good knowledge of securitisation/structured products.Strong analytical / modelling and data manipulation skills.Good commercial awareness and presentation skills.Good experience of deal execution (private/public).High attention to detail.Ability to work on presentation/pitch books.Ability to review legal documentation.Ability to work independently / self‑starter.Demonstrate team skills to work with numerous partners (Coverage, DCM, traders, sales, credit, risk).Ideally a degree in finance/maths/economics or a professional qualification in finance/treasury/asset management.We champion a flexible work environment, as we understand the need for people to meet other commitments or simply strike a good work‑life balance.
