Our dynamic, innovative and client‑focused team thrives in an inclusive and fun culture, while our proactive approach, deep expertise, integrity and quality delivery make us a trusted partner.Job DescriptionWe are looking for experienced professionals who can demonstrate the following in relation to Heat Network (HN) and wider Distributed Energy (DE) projects or programmes.Project development experience (scoping, business case, finance, high‑level technical consultancy) for schemes involving heat networks, local energy networks, smart grids and battery storage, including integration with home electric vehicle charging or car battery storage.Knowledge of distributed, flexible, resilient and low‑to‑zero‑carbon heat and power networks, including heat pumps, solar photovoltaics, energy storage, demand‑side flexibility, smart charging and vehicle‑to‑grid solutions.Outline of the TeamOur Sustainability Team specialises in measuring, managing and reducing energy consumption and associated carbon emissions. The team also delivers wider energy and sustainability consultancy to housing associations, the public sector and commercial businesses.Key Service AreasDelivery of city/regional carbon reduction programmesDevelopment of carbon management strategies, including net zero strategiesCarbon footprinting and greenhouse gas reportingIdentification and assessment of energy savingsImplementation of management systems including ISO 50001QualificationsEssentialHigh quality of service delivery and client managementConsultancy experience within DE and HN projectsSuccessful track record in facilitating and delivering DE schemes across a variety of client organisations with achievement of project or programme KPIsTrack record in overcoming barriers to DE through one or more project stages such as feasibility, commercialisation, procurement and delivery of projectsWorking knowledge and experience in DE solutions covering multiple technologiesExcellent customer‑relationship development capabilityGood grasp of metering and billing regulations and awareness of government policy surrounding HNProgramme management, reporting and organisational skillsKnowledge of energy demands in buildings and relevant regulations and design codes (e.g., CP1, Building Regulations Part L)PreferredBusiness development experienceStakeholder engagement experienceDevelopment of energy strategies and master planning for DEAbility to carry out DE data analysisAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
