They’re now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape and maintain the infrastructure that underpins critical projects.Role Overview:Location: Bristol, Cheltenham, or Manchester (3-4 days office-based)Package: Competitive salary + benefitsIndustry: National Security / Technology ConsultancyClearance: Active eDV clearance requiredWhat You’ll Be Doing:Designing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments.Building, scaling, and managing Kubernetes clusters, alongside tools like Docker and Helm.Automating processes for build, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.Developing policies for compliance, security, and disaster recovery.Driving optimisation for performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to knowledge sharing across the team.Main Skills Needed:Strong background in DevOps with hands-on cloud experience.Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm and related technologies.Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available systems.Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).Strong stakeholder communication skills.Eligible for high-level UK security clearance (British passport + 5 years residency).What’s in It for You:Work on projects that genuinely make an impact in national security.A supportive, team-focused culture with the feel of a smaller business but the backing of a larger group.Career coaching, external training (up to 5 days a year), and specialist guilds to share innovation.Clear pathways for career development with self-directed progression.Inclusive, dynamic environment where your ideas and contributions are valued.Call to Action We’ll keep this simple: if it sounds good, get in touch.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
