We have an 8‑person team of videographers, photographers, editors, animators, content creators and producers who create end‑to‑end video productions for clients such as On, Frasers Group, Sky, L’Oreal, Kraft Heinz, Worldpay, McCain, Comcast and many others. The team is bolstered by the creative brains of our researchers, strategists and designers, and kept on track by our brilliant project managers and account directors. They’re a talented bunch, and need a leader who adequately inspires them, levels up their creative thinking, and keeps them motivated when energy runs low on a two‑week shoot. Films are a massive part of the Wiser identity, so this role will be central to our creative offering. We have big growth plans (in team size, revenue and creative ideas) and we’re excited to find the person who’ll help us get there.ResponsibilitiesOversee every project in the Films pipeline, from social‑first content for our retainer clients to the big‑bang hero video we’re shooting with Comcast in Philadelphia.Work with our Creative Operations team on resourcing and forecasting – deciding who works on what, how much time we should invest in each project, and which team members attend a shoot.Lead our Films sales pipeline and work toward an annual target. Pitch and sell films to clients with our Account Directors. No cold hard BD, but lots of warm leads that want to be inspired.Own the creative output of the team – constantly leveling up creative ideation, production quality and post‑production polish. Provide quality control, ensuring no work is delivered to clients without your eagle‑eye approval.Collaborate with other Heads of teams to deliver end‑to‑end award‑winning work.Run the team’s weekly rhythm – daily stand‑ups, weekly 1:1s, and regular brainstorms and creative sessions.Support the development and growth of the team, helping them achieve their goals.Be based in our Wiser HQ office in Farringdon Monday‑Thursday. Friday is a WFH day, but you’ll be on site for shoots when needed. Remote or hybrid applicants will not make the cut.Qualifications10+ years of agency‑based Films experience.Producer or videographer with technical knowledge of the end‑to‑end films process – any discipline is OK.In‑depth understanding of our kit.Experience managing a team of filmmakers.A love for all things film – hero videos, campaign assets, always‑on social content, etc.Flexibility to travel regularly – our team flies worldwide for global clients, with trips to the US, UAE and across Europe. The Head of Films isn’t needed on every shoot, but should be available when needed.
