Join a diverse and inclusive environment where world‑class talent thrives.OverviewAs an Associate Director in Electrical Engineering, you will manage all aspects of electrical engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure. Opportunities exist on iconic projects at home and abroad across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. You will provide industry‑leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from client‑side support to construction phases.Your RoleOwn and direct teams undertaking technical design work, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and codes.Define briefs, scopes of work and lead bid proposals.Manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and programme objectives.Collaborate closely with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.Establish quality assurance standards in design.Grow, develop and manage electrical engineering capability within the practice.About YouChartered or Fellow Electrical Engineer with ownership experience in multidisciplinary design delivery.Extensive water industry experience.Deep knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres, switchgear, industrial/process installations, HAZOP, DSEAR/ATEX, SLD/BCD production, earthing and bonding, and current UK design standards.Proven technical leadership in multidisciplinary delivery.A winning mindset to expand the client portfolio.Reward & BenefitsCompetitive salary, employee rewards and a flexible benefits package tailored to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle choices.
