A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Maintenancedepartment with the appointment of a Maintenance ProjectEngineer.Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.As Maintenance Project Engineer,you will be responsible forboth managing and supporting maintenance department projects.The role will have both hands-on and contractor management responsibilities dependant on the scale of project.Project management, contractor control, and electrical and mechanical installation experience is essential.When required, supporting the maintenance facilities team may be requested.Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire,the Maintenance Project Engineer will be responsible for: *Promoting company HSE policies across the department and plant and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies.*Engaging in projects that improve plant health and safety.*Ensuring contractor RAMS and Permits are correct, updated, and adhered to.*Leading and managing projects on time, in budget, and to specification.*Utilising project management tools to clearly communicate and report out project progress and blockers.*Leading and supporting cross-functional teams to deliver right-first-time projects.*Leading and supporting projects to further improve plant KPIs (OEE).*Delivering departmental capex projects.*Ensuring projects are delivered are value for money.*Having a continuous improvement mindset to reduce wastes.The successful candidate should be a time served apprentice in mechanical and/or electrical engineering or HNC in an engineering discipline.If you believe you have the required skills and experience please apply now.M-Tec Engineering Solutions is a leading supplier of Permanent, Interim and Project Management Recruitment Solutions to the Automotive and General Engineering sectors. xpwpeyx Due to the overwhelming response to vacancies in this current climate, if you have not heard from us within the next two weeks you have been unsuccessful at this time.
