Our mission is to create a safe, inspiring environment where every learner can thrive academically and personally.As Head of Education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school. You will:Lead the development of outstanding teaching and learning across all phases.Design and implement a progressive, sequenced whole‑school curriculum.Line manage and inspire teaching and subject staff, embedding inclusive strategies.Drive assessment, self‑evaluation, and inspection readiness.Foster a collaborative, reflective, and high‑performing staff culture.We're looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about transforming lives through education. You will have:Qualified Teacher Status and a proven track record of improving teaching quality and pupil outcomes.Experience in curriculum design, assessment, and school improvement (middle leadership essential; senior leadership desirable).Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.Understanding of autism and EHCP processes (advantageous but not essential).A supportive, inclusive environment where innovation is encouraged.Continuous professional development and career progression opportunities.Collaboration across a network of specialist SEN schools.Free daily shuttle from Dorking Station.Complimentary breakfast and lunch during term time.Wellbeing initiatives and Employee Assistance Programme.Interviews: 1-3 December 2025Parking: On‑siteOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
