We are currently looking for a FPGA Engineer to join our busy team in Langley, UKHours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, with the option for hybrid home/office working.What you will be doingAs a FPGA Engineer, you will take ownership of complex FPGA-related projects, ensuring high-quality design from the initial specification through to final support and maintenance. Your expertise will be crucial in developing world-class imaging products that push boundaries and meet specific customer requirements. You will collaborate with a diverse team, write low-level specifications, implement and document new designs, and ensure product quality through effective communication and teamwork.What we are looking forTypically a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or a related field.At least 3+ years of commercial FPGA and general hardware design experience.Proficient in FPGA design using VHDL/SystemVerilog with AMD (Xilinx), Lattice, or Intel (Altera) products.Familiar with high-speed interfaces and advanced simulation methods.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.What we offer in returnCompetitive salary, dependent on skills and experience.26 days of holiday plus public holidays.Pension scheme with salary sacrifice (5% employer contribution, 3% employee contribution).Access to the Westfield Health Scheme, including a corporate health cash plan and discounted gym membership.Life assurance at 4x basic salary and the option to join the Electric Vehicle salary-sacrifice scheme.Our Recruitment processApplication Review– Your application will be reviewed by Recruitment & Hiring ManagerInitial Screening – Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a Teams Interview to discuss the role and your experience in more detail.Interview – candidates will be invited to a face-to-face interview at our offices.
