We are proud of our rapid growth and reputation for delivering exceptional results for clients across a diverse range of sectors.You will have the autonomy to lead in your role while collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality dispute resolution services to a diverse client base. You will work and support on complex, high-value disputes, including contractual claims, contentious debt recovery, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, and regulatory matters. We pride ourselves on our technical expertise and resources to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients, ranging from large household names and multi‑billion pound turnover companies to small owner‑managed businesses.What you will be doing:Support Partners on complex, high value litigation in the Sheriff Court and Court of SessionWork independently on a diverse range of commercial litigation disputesWork under the supervision and guidance of Partners to deliver high‑quality legal services.Ensure strict compliance with all court deadlines, procedural rules, and case management requirements.Regularly appear and represent clients in Sheriff Courts across Scotland.Effectively engage with and support national clients in relation to dispute resolution matters.Prepare and manage case files, pleadings, and documentation in accordance with professional standards.Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for efficient resolution of disputes.Mentor trainee and junior level supportWhat you will need:A minimum of 5 year PQE working within a litigious teamExperience and competence appearing in the Sheriff courtConfidence to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and negotiation skillsExperience and competence in a range of IT applications i.e. Microsoft Office, Aderant, iManageMeet the teamOur Team:Our Scottish Solicitors work with key clients across a broad range of sectors, from renewable energy to fast‑growing businesses, commercial real estate, banking and real estate finance transactions.
