OverviewSenior or Principal level Human Factors Consultant to be based at either the Warrington or London office. The Human Factors team forms part of our major accident hazard safety business, working predominantly in the nuclear sector. Discover your full potential – join us to grow your career while leaving a lasting legacy.What You Will Be DoingYou will lead and deliver results on multiple Human Factors projects with a variety of clients whilst fostering long-term, strategic client partnerships.Scoping and delivering on large, technical Human Factors assessments whilst managing small project teams.Support the design and case/safety report assessments.Undertake tasks within Human Factors such as operational claim identification, substantiation, design support, project integration management, human error identification, application of human factor methods, verification and validation.Resolve operational issues.Derivation and management of requirements.Apply modern human factors techniques and industry best practices.Drive innovation to grow the business.Train and mentor teams, providing guidance in key technical areas.Who We Are Looking ForExperienced in leading and delivering Human Factors support to nuclear or other high hazard projects.Understand and apply knowledge of UK regulations and standards and other regulatory regimes; regulatory interaction.Proficient in technical report writing.Willing to travel to and work on clients’ sites.QualificationsA degree qualification in a related subject such as Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology or Industrial Design.Obtained or working towards chartership with The Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors.What is in it for you?We’re proud to be an accredited training provider, internationally recognised and providing robust fully accredited professional training programmes.
