Ltd. (AKDGSPL). The Geophysicist will be responsible for expediting and managing projects, conducting inspections, and overseeing logistics management. The role will require strong project management skills and expertise in expediting and inspection processes. We are seeking a skilled and experienced (Min. 10 years) Project Manager with expertise in geophysics/geology to oversee 2D seismic survey data acquisition projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the projects, from planning and execution of field data acquisition process.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivers key technical geophysical analysis products and interpretation such as:Seismic to well tie, Acoustic Impedance Inversion, Acoustic FD earth model building, Time2depth velocity modeling, Depth uncertainty analysis, Seismic data processing support, 4D & CCUS (Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage) feasibility modeling and analysisTasks will also include performance of routine compliance tasks, automated and manual software compatibility testing for periodic system and software upgrades, and close coordination with Subsurface Platform Systems EngineersPetrel and geophysical software development skillsTeaming with US-based research and development groups focusing on developing and deploying geophysical products and workflowsContinual communication with asset and exploration teams spanning the globeRequired QualificationsMSc degree in Earth Science, (Geophysics preferred) from deemed/recognised (AICTE) universityAt least 5 years industry related experienceIndustry Experience in technical geophysics including, but not limited to seismic interpretation, seismic-to-well tie, Acoustic Impedance inversion, acoustic FD earth model building, Time2depth velocity modeling, Depth uncertainty analysis, Seismic data processing supportExperience with Petrel, DELFI would be a differentiator.
