Head of Fire Safety role at Alfianni Online - Artist NetwerkReady to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Support the organisations' capital and revenue projects through expert fire safety advice and collaboration with senior leaders in Engineering and Building teams, ensuring the Trust Estate complies with all fire safety best practice to provide a safe patient environment of the highest standard.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead on policies and strategies related to the Trusts' fire safety management programme.Maintain an open and transparent Fire Safety Management System.Identify existing and potential vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement across all Trust sites, and advise on the management of Fire Safety and Risk.Ensure effectiveness of a comprehensive fire safety training programme for all staff at all levels in the Trust.Support the Trust Fire Safety Manager in developing and authoring the Trust Fire Safety Policy, Fire Safety Management Plan and associated documentation.Provide senior managerial leadership for the strategic development of fire safety across the Organisational Estate, including managing relationships with partner organisations such as the local Fire and Rescue Service, Local Authority, Newcastle‑Upon‑Tyne University and other NHS organisations.Work with landlords to ensure properties meet required standards where the organisation delivers a service.Provide expert technical advice on the management of fire safety across the organisation.Ensure a process of audit exists to manage fire safety in line with best practice, and report findings to senior management.Support capital and revenue projects with expert fire safety advice, working to Trust financial orders and estate procedures.Attend or chair meetings; liaise with colleagues and other senior managers across the organisation.Lead and line manage the Fire Safety Team; deputise for the Trust Fire Safety Manager as required.Ensure all appropriate standards and specifications are adhered to and managed effectively.Deliver a suitable programme of training to all Trust staff; instruct and manage external specialists as required.Regularly undertake audits and equipment testing.QualificationsMust hold the essential qualification(s) as detailed within the job description, with experience demonstrated during the interview.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionOther, Information Technology, and ManagementIndustriesConstruction#J-18808-Ljbffr
