Our client is looking for passionate individuals to join their dynamic and growing legal Department and successfully assist and work with Parliamentary Counsel on primary legislation.As a Public Law Lawyer you will be working within a team which is dedicated to its clients and supportive of its team members.Key responsibilities of the Public Law Lawyer:Advising on Public Law issues.Work with Parliamentary Counsel on primary legislation.Drafting secondary legislation.Assisting with the team's knowledge management/sharing objectives and providing input into client legal awareness projects.Maintaining strong and effective communicational skills.Working on high profile, fast paced and challenging work.Attending and contributing to team meetings.Required skills and experience of the Public Law Litigation LawyerMust be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister in the UK.Has to have been in the UK for the last 5 years.Sound understanding and experience of general public law.Reliable legal judgement and appreciation of legal risk.The ability to think strategically and creatively, see legal issues in their wider context and advise accordingly.What is on offer for the Public Law Lawyer?£59,163 Annual Equivalent.Exceptional work/life balance including flexible working arrangements.Central London Location.Access to Unique Government Work.Likely extension of your 6-month contract.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Central Government Team that prides itself in the first-class service it offers its clients.
