Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Lancaster Salary: £43,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00amAre you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.- 4:30pm About the Role As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer , you'll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of production equipment across both the factory .This is a hands-on, varied role where your skills will be fully utilised- reducing downtime, improving repair times, and enhancing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Key Responsibilities for the maintenance engineer: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and improvement activities.Supporting and commissioning new equipment and projects .Using CMMS systems to plan, record, and manage maintenance tasks.Accurately reporting and documenting all maintenance activities.Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing long-term corrective actions.Supporting operator cross-skilling (e.g., lubrication, inspections, changeovers, minor repairs).Managing spare parts , conducting criticality and obsolescence reviews , and streamlining stock control.Contributing to continuous improvement (CI) initiatives using tools such as 5S, TPM, Asset Management, and Kaizen .Preparing weekly and monthly performance reports .About the maintenance engineer: A qualified Multiskilled Engineer , ideally with an electrical bias Competent with fault finding, repair, and maintenance on electrical systems and controls.Comfortable with basic mechanical tasks , including changing belts, bearings, and using hand tools.Experienced in manufacturing or process environments , with a focus on reliability and safety.Analytical, proactive, and motivated to drive continuous improvement.What's on Offer for the maintenance engineer: £43,000 annual salary Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm (no weekend shifts) Opportunities for ongoing training and skill development A supportive, inclusive working environment with a focus on reliability and innovation If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.For further details contact Sam Turner at Pioneer Selection.As a registered candidate with Pioneer Selection Ltd, you automatically become eligible for our referral scheme. xpwpeyx You will receive £250 for every candidate we place in permanent employment who has been recommended by you.Terms and Conditions apply please see our website for further details.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
