FAIR Inspector / FAIR Engineer / Quality Inspector Initial 6-Month Contract (Likely Extended) Hourly Rate: £40Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.- £45 per hour (UMB) Location: Stevenage Area Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Half Day Friday) Our client is urgently seeking an experienced FAIR Inspector / FAIR Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, which realistically is expected to extend beyond that.You will play a crucial role in managing a backlog and ensuring the timely delivery of projects in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.With an 8-week backlog and a strong order book extending into 2030, we need someone who can hit the ground running, with no time for a steep learning curve.This role offers an opportunity to make an immediate impact.Experience & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years FAIR experience, with solid exposure to visual FAIR inspections.Highly regulated background required (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical, or other sectors with strict quality and compliance standards).Must be able to demonstrate the ability to hit the ground running with minimal training or supervision.A proactive, flexible attitude to work, especially in managing urgent or high-priority tasks.Key Responsibilities: 75% Desk-Based : Primarily responsible for compiling FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports), ensuring accuracy and completeness.25% Inspection : Carrying out visual inspections to verify compliance with industry standards.Assist with the existing backlog, helping manage an increased workload while contributing to the overall success of the team.Ensure that all FAIRs are compiled in line with aerospace industry regulations and standards.Work with a team to ensure a streamlined process for completing FAIRs and meet all internal and external deadlines.Rate & Duration: £40-46 per hour Initial 6-month contract with high potential for extensions, based on workload and performance Based near Stevenage If youre an experienced FAIR Inspector / FAIR Engineer with the necessary skills and experience, and youre ready to jump in and assist with this critical workload, please apply nowd02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
