Unlike traditional survey methods, we leverage advanced Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) technology to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable data solutions.OverviewThe General Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s overall commercial and business strategy. This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in business development, commercial strategy, and operational leadership, combined with knowledge and experience in USV systems and marine data collection.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe General Manager will be responsible for driving Subsea Xplorer’s business growth and strategic direction, ensuring commercial success and operational excellence.Key responsibilities include:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s overall business strategy, aligning with market trends and technological advancements.Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth.Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring strong relationships and early visibility of future contracts and opportunities.Sales Process Management: Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs to inform decision-making.Work cross-functionally with Projects: Work closely with the Projects, Survey, and Marine teams to align business opportunities with operational capacity.Financial Oversight: Develop revenue forecasts, monitor financial performance, and contribute to budgeting processes.Continuous Learning: Gather client feedback and insights to refine service offerings and enhance business processes.Requirements: Essential Skills and Attributes RequiredThird level qualification - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Marine Science, or similar).Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role within the marine, renewables, or offshore technology sectors.Strong understanding of USV systems, remote survey technology, and ocean data collection.Proven track record in B2B sales, commercial negotiations, and strategic partnership development.Demonstrated consultative selling skills and an ability to place the customer and their requirements at the heart of every conversation – both internal and external.Ability to engage with technical clients, understand their requirements and develop tailored solutions.Ability to interpret market data, develop actionable strategies, and drive business performance.Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making.Strong team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.ApplyApplicants must demonstrate how they meet the essential criteria.Must be willing to travel as per job requirements.Candidates must have a valid work permit for the UK.Onsite Job.Performance Bonus.Pension. xpwpeyx Join Subsea Xplorer and be part of a passionate and innovative team that is changing ocean data collection through cutting-edge USV technologySeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesData Infrastructure and Analytics#J-18808-Ljbffr
