At WSP, you can access our global scale, contribute to landmark projects and connect with the brightest minds in your field.Role SummaryAs a Principal Risk Consultant / Manager, you will be able:Deliver risk consulting assignments profitably and with good feedbackLead and manage small consulting assignments where necessaryContribute to the development of the practiceKey ResponsibilitiesManage effective risk management services on projects and/or workstreams with minimal input from Associates/DirectorsLead on the development and presentation of client risk management deliverables and engage stakeholders on corrective actions and opportunitiesSupport project leaders in the successful delivery of the projectCoach more junior members of the teamWork as part of the team to develop and expand WSP Risk Management service offeringEmbed and share knowledge and best practiceBuild professional networks and relationships to support business development activitiesYour TeamThe WSP Risk Management Team is a standalone function and works across multiple industries, internally and externally.Team members are based across the UK and India and collaborate with global colleagues.QualificationsExpertise in all aspects of project, programme, and business risk management facilitationExperience building complex cost, schedule, and business risk models using tools such as ARM, Primavera Risk Analyzer, Safran Risk, Predict, and XactiumAble to explain risk assessment results to non-specialists and suggest appropriate mitigation actionsKnowledge of risk management techniques and project management/control processesDesirableRecognised diploma or degree or equivalent qualification in risk managementMembership of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management risk practitionerPrevious line manager experienceConsultancy experienceDon’t quite meet all the criteria?
