This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Saas Organisation.You will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for driving the company’s growth agenda across sales, marketing, partnerships, product go-to-market, and customer success. This executive will architect and execute the organisation’s long‑term growth strategy, ensuring sustained revenue expansion, market penetration, and high‑performing commercial operations.We are seeking a transformational growth leader with a proven track record in scaling SaaS, technology, or professional services businesses, capable of delivering substantial ARR growth, reshaping commercial structures, and leading multidisciplinary teams through periods of scale‑up, turnaround, or evolution.This is a strategic and execution‑focused role ideal for a leader with deep utilities sector experience, proven commercial acumen, and a track record of scaling high‑growth businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a cohesive growth and revenue strategy aligned with the company's mission and long‑term business objectives.Define and lead the business’s go‑to‑market plans across utilities consulting, Saas, technology solutions, and operational services.Establish and manage annual revenue targets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range growth plans.Business Development & Market ExpansionIdentify new markets, service lines, partnerships, and other opportunities within Water, Energy, and broader Utilities sectors.Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients, regulators, and industry partners.Expand the business’s presence in UK and international markets through differentiated value propositions and strong client delivery.Oversee key accounts to ensure strong customer satisfaction, contract renewals, cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities.Partner with the Delivery and Product teams to ensure commercial commitments are met and value is realised for clients.Implement robust account planning, pipeline management, and customer success frameworks.Commercial Operations & PerformanceLead and optimise commercial processes across sales, bidding, pricing, and revenue operations.Build data‑driven reporting, CRM optimisation, and commercial governance to support scalable growth.Ensure the organisation meets revenue, margin, and profitability targets.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead high‑performing commercial, marketing, and business development teams.Foster a culture of agility, innovation, accountability, and customer‑centricity.Develop talent pipelines and mentoring frameworks to support long‑term organisational growth.Skills & Experience RequiredSignificant senior commercial leadership experience (CGO, CRO, Commercial Director, or similar).Proven success growing revenue in the utilities sector (water, energy, infrastructure, or environmental services).Experience leading commercial teams across consulting, digital solutions, and services.Demonstrated track record of building scalable revenue engines and delivering consistent revenue growth.Strong financial acumen, with experience in pricing strategy, forecasting, profitability management, and negotiation of major contracts.Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills.Experience in high‑growth or scale‑up organisations.Knowledge of digital transformation, AI, data, or asset management technologies within utilities.Personal AttributesStrategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to execution.Entrepreneurial, innovative, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment.Results‑driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Collaborative leader who builds trust and alignment across teams. xpwpeyx Customer‑first mindset with passion for improving outcomes in the utilities sector.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionSoftware Development
