We work on a wide range of water sector projects including water treatment, storage and transfers, wastewater recycling, industrial process water, desalination, irrigation, hydropower, and flood defence. We cover all phases of the project lifecycle from feasibility studies, design for planning and consents, through detailed design, construction support, and commissioning to handover. You will have the opportunity to work in partnership with clients and contractors, building strong relationships.What You Will Contribute to the TeamOwnership of and responsibility for the successful delivery of our projects to time, quality and budgetIdentifying and monitoring project risks and opportunitiesContributing to project governance reviewsDesign and quality management of our deliverablesCommercial and contractual managementManaging stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interestsContributing to the management and development of the project delivery teamCandidate SpecificationThis role will suit candidates with experience and interest in the following:Relevant technical degree, Chartered engineer or nearing chartership with membership of an appropriate professional bodyEssentialProject management, project delivery and leadership experienceExperience of delivering large, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, ideally in the water sectorWorking as part of multi-disciplinary design teams at various stages in the project lifecycleUndertaking studies, concept, preliminary and detailed designInterfacing and engaging with clients and other stakeholdersStrong communication skills, including writing reports and presentingProactive approach, with an ability to adapt to changing scenariosUnderstanding of the importance of prioritising health, safety, and environmental issuesDigital capabilityCommercial acumen and knowledge of project planning and controlsDesirableAPM PMQ, MAPM or equivalentNEC accreditationDesign and build experienceKnowledge and understanding of CDM regulations and responsibilitiesUK ImmigrationMott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK.
