You'll be the hands-on support that enables senior engineers to focus on complex design challenges – assembling, testing, debugging, and documenting robotic systems as part of an important international project.What You'll Be DoingAssembling and building prototype electro-mechanical robotic systemsSetting up and running tests on components and systemsDebugging electronics and capturing data accuratelyMaintaining workshop equipment and development spaceWriting clear documentation for tests and processesSupporting senior engineers so they can focus on design and innovationWhat You'll BringCommercial experience as a mechatronics technician or engineerExperience testing and debugging electronicsCompetence in soldering, including small wires and electronic componentsAbility to assemble prototype electro-mechanical systemsStrong documentation skillsA structured approach to problem-solving and data recordingBased in London and able to work in the office 5 days a weekNice to have: PCB rework/surface mount experience, Linux command line, scripting/automation, MCAD/ECAD toolsWhat's In It For YouWork with genuinely innovative robotics hardware every dayBe part of a collaborative, curious engineering teamCompetitive PAYE rate with potential for extensionContribute to an important international projectInterested?Apply below and Helen at HFBAC will be in touch about the client and project and potentially have a chat about whether this is the right fit.Please note: This role is 100% office-based in North London.
