We're seeking a proactive and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our expanding team.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.If you thrive on solving complex problems, driving innovation, and making a tangible impact, this opportunity is for you.About Us Anglian is a leading home improvement company committed to excellence and innovation.With advanced manufacturing solutions and a fully integrated supply chain, we're proud to be at the forefront of our industry.We're now looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to help us maintain our high standards and support continued growth.The Role As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our production systems.You'll work across a variety of technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and enhance product quality.Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.Working Hours: This role operates on a rotating shift pattern: • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM Salary: £43,350 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical schematics • Prioritise and manage multiple competing tasks effectively • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and process drawings • Perform fault finding and diagnostics on a wide range of machinery and systems • Collaborate with engineering colleagues to drive continuous improvement across both electrical and mechanical domains • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in line with safety and regulatory standards What We're Looking For • HNC level qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical training (desirable) • Minimum of two years' experience in a multi-skilled engineering role • Proficiency in reading and working with electrical, mechanical, and process drawings • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across both disciplines • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to technical challenges • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment What We Offer • Competitive salary including shift allowance • 31 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing to 33 days after two years of service • Comprehensive wellbeing support, including 24/7 remote access to a doctor, discounted gym memberships, and your birthday off • Paid volunteering leave each year • Access to a wide range of retail, dining, cinema, and theatre discounts • Generous staff discount scheme on company products Why Anglian?
