This is a fantastic opportunity to lead large-scale projects within a dynamic environment, ensuring that data security frameworks are robust, compliant, and effective across all financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end data security programmes within banking and financial services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, establish requirements, and implement secure data management solutions.Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.Oversee governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities to meet regulatory standards.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates and strategic recommendations.Continuously improve data security practices by staying up to date with the latest industry trends and regulations.Key RequirementsProven experience as a Programme Manager in the banking and finance sector.Strong expertise in Data Security, including governance, risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).Excellent knowledge of data protection methodologies and industry best practices.Exceptional project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.This is an exciting opportunity for a Program Director on a 12-month project working with a leading banking and financial client.
