This role combines clinical responsibilities with partnership duties, ensuring the sustainability and success of the practice within the NHS framework.About usFriendly, well-established GMS practice with 7,880 patients, rated 'Good' by CQC (Sept 2025), and part of Shrewsbury PCN. Our team includes 4 Partners, a Salaried GP, ANP, nurses, and excellent admin support. We use EMIS Web, achieve high QOF scores, and have outstanding patient feedback.What we Offer:Competitive partnership drawingsSupportive, friendly team environmentOpportunities for leadership and professional developmentFlexible working arrangementsFree town centre parking and minimal home visitsJob responsibilitiesClinical Care:Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based care to registered patientsDiagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic conditions in line with NICE and local guidelinesPrescribe medications appropriately and review treatment plans regularlyProvide continuity of care and build long‑term patient relationshipsParticipate in partnership meetings and contribute to strategic decision‑makingEnsure compliance with CQC standards, NHS contractual obligations, and clinical governance requirementsSupport quality improvement initiatives, audits, and risk management processesQuality & Performance:Contribute to achieving and maintaining high QOF performanceEngage in enhanced services and local commissioning opportunitiesMonitor clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction to maintain high standardsEducation & Training:Support the training and supervision of GP registrars, medical students, and nursing staffParticipate in CPD and appraisal processes to maintain professional developmentWork closely with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionalsEngage with Shrewsbury PCN initiatives and collaborative projectsAdministration:Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using EMIS WebEnsure compliance with GDPR and confidentiality standardsParticipate in rota duties, including on‑call sessions, as agreed within the partnershipPerson Specification xpwpeyx GeneralExcellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamLeadership and service development skillsFamiliarity with EMIS WebQualificationsMedical DegreeMRCGP or equivalentPostgraduate qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Family Planning, Diabetes Care)ExperienceExperience in UK General PracticeDisclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.Depending on experience, Partner drawings are negotiable#J-18808-Ljbffr
