Therapy Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Therapy HLTA to join a specialist team supporting children and young people with a range of physical, functional, and sensory needs.Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityHours: Term time only, 35 hours per week, 8:45AM to 4:30PM Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:45am- 4:15PM Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:45AM- 3:45PM Fridays Salary: £25,098 plus £1,268 SEN allowance Benefits: Free on-site parking, Healthcare scheme, Cycle to work scheme, On-site café, Pension and life assurance, Staff awards, Gym, food, entertainment, shopping and holiday discounts, Christmas party and social events As the Therapy HLTA you will be responsible for: Deliver and support therapy programmes under the guidance of therapists.Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to embed therapeutic approaches in the classroom.Provide coaching and role-modelling for staff to ensure consistent use of therapy strategies and assistive technology.Help coordinate and maintain specialist equipment to support students' independence and wellbeing.Lead small group and individual interventions to help students achieve their goals.The successful Evening Cleaner will have the following related skills / experience: Has significant experience as a HLTA or in leading therapeutic/educational interventions.Understands child development and SEND.Can work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.Has excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and support others.Training and ongoing professional development will be provided. xpwpeyx This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
