The Role As an o9 - Functional Consultant you will be responsible for leading the functional design for retail planning solutions within the o9 platform, configuring Assortment Planning, Demand Planning, Allocation, and Replenishment setups. Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and hyper care activities. Key responsibilities: • Lead functional design and configuration of o9 planning solutions (MFP, Demand, Supply, Assortment), aligned to business requirements. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand planning processes, translate them into o9 models, and validate planning outputs. • Support end-to-end implementation activities, including solution design, data validation, SIT/UAT support, and production readiness. • Collaborate with technical, data, and integration teams to ensure smooth data flow, performance, and solution stability. • Provide post-go-live support, enhancements, and continuous improvement, helping the business increase value from the o9 platform. Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience: • Expertise in o9 modules such as Assortment Planning, Demand Planning and Allocation & Replenishment. • Strong understanding of retail hierarchies, seasonality, product attributes, and store/online planning models. • Ability to translate merchandising and planning requirements into functional o9 configurations. • SQL/Python knowledge for data validation and issue troubleshooting Experience in ETL tools. Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: • Exposure to data modelling, integrations, and planning data flows within enterprise planning platforms. • Experience leading or mentoring junior functional consultants. • Ability to work confidently with senior business stakeholders and translate complex requirements into functional designs.
