Drive consistency across ways of working ensuring full alignment across the teams. Highlight key impediments and facilitate resolution for Technology.ResponsibilitiesGovernancePartner with EPMO responsible for driving Primark & Tech specific portfolio, programme & project governance and complianceProvide central best practices and drive/influence efficiencies in the delivery of the Tech portfolioOwn, facilitate and manage the initiative approval process for TechnologyDrive delivery process improvements – enabling leaner ways of workingLead adoption of the portfolio ways of working and governanceResource ManagementSupport options analysis to enable strategic resource management and drive cost optimisationEnable capacity management visibilityManage contingent worker process – tracking and approvalReportingResponsible for designing, implementing and maturing portfolio delivery and executive level reportingReporting on portfolio level risks, constraints and opportunitiesDevelop and implement key portfolio metrics and insights to support leadership decision makingDevelop and implement domain portfolio health check reportingVisibilityResponsible for enabling visibility of all portfolio initiatives and enabling a single Tech portfolio view (Roadmap)Responsible for ensuring appropriate tooling and systems are in place to enable effective portfolio management and reportingResponsible for ensuring portfolio level inter‑dependencies are visible and are being managedOversightResponsible for Technology portfolio management forums including development and facilitation (Portfolio Review, Delivery Assurance, QBR, ABR and Annual Planning)Own the preparation and sharing of the prioritised annual portfolio for TechCoaching & TrainingAccountable & responsible for portfolio management training & coaching, including overseeing the maintenance of training content for accuracy and currencyQualificationsEssential5+ years of experience within a portfolio/enterprise level PMOStrong understanding of portfolio management frameworksUnderstand KPIs, dashboards, and portfolio performance metricsSignificant experience in PPM toolsDesirableAdvanced data analysis and visualizationEquivalent degree or qualificationExperience in identifying and implementing continuous improvement efforts and coaching teams in best practicesLifestyle & Benefits27 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays – with the option to buy up to 5 more.Flexible working arrangements, including the opportunity for an early Friday finish.Access to a subsidised cafeteria.Primark Perks – enjoy discounts with local partner businesses near our officesBecause you can see how we can be better.
