This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified to mid-level solicitor (NQ-5 years PQE) to develop their career within a supportive and purpose-driven environment.The RoleYou'll manage a caseload of legal aid matters, working closely with senior lawyers to deliver high-quality legal advice and outstanding client service. The role also involves contributing to business development and marketing initiatives to support the growth and reputation of the team.Key responsibilities include:Managing a caseload of legal aid files under supervisionTaking client instructions and delivering commercially astute advicePreparing and progressing advocacy mattersBuilding relationships with clients and developing client care skillsScoping and pricing work effectivelyComplying with SRA principles and risk management policiesSupporting business development projects and raising personal profileMonitoring time recording, WIP, and billingAligning personal objectives with departmental strategic goalsCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:NQ-5 years PQE in family lawExperience in private law children and domestic abuse mattersAbility to manage files with minimal supervisionStrong client management and communication skillsOrganised and able to prioritise effectivelyInterest in contributing to team growth and developmentWorking ArrangementsThe firm supports hybrid working across all roles.
