Corporate Security Officer (Front line Security Officer – Eastleigh / Chandlers Ford)Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.Position: Corporate Security Officer at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services.Location: Eastleigh – Chandlers Ford.Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days, average 38 hours per week.Hourly rate: £12.40.Job OverviewProtect customer property, people, and assets following Assignment Instructions.Meet or exceed KPIs and SLA to retain contract.Complete required training and continuous self‑development.Perform duties across the site – issuing passes, keys, monitoring CCTV, reception, visitor management, patrols, and reporting.Use MS Office, CCTV and access control systems.Main DutiesOperationsEnsure compliance with policies, regulations, UK law, and guidance.Complete all tasks defined in Assignment Instructions.Suggest improvements to instructions.Maintain front‑line licence; worn at all times.Adhere to legal obligations and safety requirements.Work systematically and in an orderly method.TrainingComplete all competency and required training.Undertake additional training for continuous self‑development.Use technology to achieve key work objectives.Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.Security and Health & SafetyLook out for and immediately report any hazards or potential hazards.Stay alert to threats; act to reduce risk.Involve others if a situation becomes threatening.Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations.Record incidents accurately in a notebook.Adhere to scheduled checks as stipulated in Assignment Instructions.Call emergency services and Communications Centre for all incidents.Qualifications & AttributesFlexible, able to work alone or as part of a team.Excellent customer service skills.Approachable and adaptable.PC literate, able to learn new systems.Corporate security experience preferred but not essential.BenefitsOn‑site free gym.Discounts at 100+ high street shops.Staff discount at UK DIY retailer after successful probation.SIA licence training if required.Uniform provided.Online GP.Cycle‑to‑work scheme via Mitie and client. xpwpeyx Our CommitmentWe are committed to ensuring our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible to all.
