As a proud B Corp, we’re committed to making a positive impact on people and the planet, supported by a passionate and friendly team.The Role: General Manager BrightonAs General Manager for Brighton, you will oversee the operations and sales for the region, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. You’ll be responsible for maintaining occupancy – building an exceptional community for existing members, while signing up new ones – plus solving facilities issues and motivating a small team. We are looking for a confident and engaging relationship builder who is comfortable leading from the front, spinning lots of plates and setting high standards.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesBuild an exceptional member experience, including delivering an extensive events calendar and building an engaged and vibrant communityEnsure impeccable standards across your site – managing operational requirements such as maintenance and cleaningTroubleshoot facilities issues and ensure sites are compliant and within budgetMaintain Occupancy through your sales pipeline, touring prospective members, holding retention conversations with existing members and cultivating relationships both within Runway East and the surrounding ecosystemBuild relationships with your team, motivate them, train them, set expectations and create a service‑first cultureImprove our processes and question systems to make them as efficient as possibleWho You AreLeader: Confident in guiding and motivating your team to successCharismatic: Positive and personable, with a natural ability to build strong relationshipsDetail‑Oriented: Notices the small things and takes action to maintain high standardsResilient: Calm under pressure, proactive, and solutions‑focusedService‑Minded: Thrives on helping others and delivering great experiencesHardworking: Leads by example and gets stuck in when neededCommercial: Confident in selling and negotiating, with a sharp eye for improving operations using data, goals, and clear thinkingExperienced: Proven in delivering exceptional service and training teams to do the sameBenefitsWhy Join Us?Salary: £38,000 to £48,000, depending on experienceTime Off: 31 days including bank holidays, plus an extra day for every year at Runway East.
