We invite you to join us on this journey and drive your career forward.Your RoleAs the Chief AI System Software & Hardware Co-design Architect at Huawei, you will lead the development of Huawei’s AI system into a new era. Your role involves:Shaping the Future of AI: Take charge of advancing the technical edge of Huawei’s AI processors, focusing on core technologies driving NPU chips and setting direction for innovations.Strategizing for Global Impact: Craft and steer comprehensive evolution strategies and roadmaps for Huawei’s AI system domain.Integrating Cutting-Edge Technologies: Spearhead the integration of AI sub-domains including memory hierarchy, interconnect topology, application algorithms, frameworks, runtime environments, modelling, simulation, SDK and compilers, from a system-centric view to create a competitive end-to-end architecture.Leading AI Evolution: Stay ahead of AI industry trends and develop key architectures for foundational AI software and hardware, addressing usability and performance challenges in comprehensive AI solutions.Guiding and Inspiring Technical Teams: Lead lifecycle management of complex projects, coordinating global resources to enhance outcomes and shape overall architectural design.We SeekVisionaries with experience in optimizing AI chip architectures and systems, with strategic thinking about AI industry applications and trends across applications, software, and chips.Strong knowledge of AI industry applications and mainstream AI models and algorithm trends, capable of discerning chip-layer requirements for innovative processor development.Mastery in technical problem-solving, including bottlenecks in domains like NLP and large-scale AI models.Experience in strategic development and innovation, guiding planning and architectural design for cutting-edge chip technologies and foundational system software.DesiredExperience in enhancing software usability.Proficiency across AI sub-fields: application algorithms, frameworks, runtime, modelling, simulation and compilers. xpwpeyx Track record of transforming academic research into commercial successes.What We Offer33 days annual leave entitlement per year (including UK public holidays)Group Personal PensionLife insurancePrivate medical insuranceMedical expense claim schemeEmployee Assistance ProgramCycle to work schemeCompany sports club and social eventsAdditional time off for learning and developmentSeniority levelExecutiveEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: TelecommunicationsReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Huawei Technologies Research & Development (UK) Ltd by 2x.
