We recommend discussing arrangements with the hiring manager.The TeamAs a key member of the Data & Tech Leadership Team reporting into Landsecs Head of Data and Technology - Performance & Planning this person will be expected to contribute to the ongoing running and continuous improvement of the department.The RoleThe Change Portfolio Director is a strategic leader responsible for enhancing and embedding the Data and Technology operating model and change framework. They should create a change centre of excellence ensuring that all technology enabled business change is delivered successfully in a well governed transparent and consistent manner.The role is responsible for overseeing project management standards governance and resource allocation across the technology-enabled business change portfolio ensuring that initiatives align with the organisations strategic objectives and are delivered successfully.The Change Portfolio Director is responsible for overall portfolio reporting including the benefits and financial position of all Landsec technology enabled business change.Principle AccountabilitiesChange Business Planning and Portfolio PerformanceOwn the overall annual change business planning activities and budgeting processUse financial measures to value and prioritise change initiativesReview business cases to ensure that they are clear accurate and complete with a particular focus on the viability of benefits and value of delivering the relevant initiativeManage and report on the overall portfolio investment and benefitsManage and report on benefits realisation ROI financial position and milestone progress across the portfolioPortfolio ManagementDevelop and implement portfolio management strategies policies and frameworks to ensure the successful delivery of technology projects which meet cost benefit quality and delivery targetsOversee the management and governance of a technology-enabled business change portfolio ensuring initiatives are prioritised and aligned with business objectivesManage the funnel of proposed technology investments and review new idea submissions to ensure information accuracy and viabilitySet up and chair Group Portfolio BoardsSet up and maintain a centre of excellence for programme project & change management within Data and TechnologyFoster a culture of continuous improvement with change teams ensuring lessons learned are captured and referenced and processes are adapted to improve efficiency and effectivenessEnsure programme and project reviews are regularly and effectively conducted across the portfolio to monitor and manage delivery to schedule budget and agreed quality level with a focus on achievable benefitsProactive engagement with change teams to identify manage and resolve governance resourcing and delivery challenges escalating risks as appropriateAnticipate and address potential dependency and schedule conflicts that may impact the portfolio working with stakeholders to resolve these in a timely mannerOversee and deliver monthly Data and Technology Change Portfolio reportingTeam ManagementDevelop team objectives consistent with the vision and strategic objectives of the change portfolioMonitor team performance provide feedback and address development needsStakeholder EngagementCollaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment of change goals with business objectivesBuild and maintain relationships across all areas of the organisation to support successful change planning and implementationCapacity ManagementManage and report on shared resource capacity using data to inform constraints scheduling conflicts and recruitment decisionsEnsure optimal utilisation based on priorities schedules and budgets whilst maximising efficiency and effectivenessRisk ManagementEnsure that programmes and projects conduct the appropriate risk assessments when introducing new information and operational technology into LandsecIdentify assess and mitigate risks associated with the project portfolio ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issuesUpdate and maintain the Data & Technology risk register for change related risks working with the Head of Risk & ControlsEssential CriteriaExperience in portfolio management and governance within a technology departmentExperience of using financial measures to value and prioritise change initiativesProven experience of implementing improvement initiatives change frameworks and best practice templatesIn-depth understanding of portfolio management methodologies tools and best practicesStrong leadership communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentExperience of mixed agile and waterfall delivery environments with in-depth understanding of :Portfolio planningPortfolio reportingBenefits managementGovernance processesChange assurancePortfolio financial managementChange budget planning and financial management experience preferably with showback and / or chargeback modelsExperience of managing a PPM toolLife and Benefits at LandsecWe have a great benefits package there to support you with your work-life balance and in moments that matter.
