You will also work closely with both the legal and business teams, especially business development, commercial and senior management and externally with counterparty legal advisers, external legal advisers, contract counterparties and customers.ResponsibilitiesProviding commercially focused legal advice on a broad range of projectsReviewing, negotiating, drafting agreements and conducting contract negotiations with project counterparties including development, construction, O&M, financing, offtake, joint venture and SaaS agreements for a wide range of projectsProviding support on commercial and contractual matters for tenders, projects, variations and on‑going contractual and operational matters.Assisting on the governance of transactions at local and group levelWe are looking forQualified Solicitor – 3+ PQEYou must have an understanding of the contractual framework surrounding energy projects in particular renewables within the UK energy market.Experience of energy projects preferred.
