We are seeking a Head of Quality (Maternity Cover) who can bring clarity, consistency and a touch of brilliance to our provision across :Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.16-18 Study ProgrammesAdult ProvisionApprenticeshipsPartnershipsThis role isn't just about ticking boxes; it's about raising the bar.You will :Lead the charge on continuous quality improvement across all provision typesTrack achievement, retention and destination data like a quality detective, always looking for the next improvement opportunityImplement our BCG Quality Handbook & Cycle through effective matrix managementManage the Quality Review, Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan processesCollaborate with curriculum directors and managers, and external partners to ensure every learner gets a high-quality experienceSupport inspections, foster strong relationships with awarding organisations, and maintain oversight of external quality assurance visitsLead a team of Progress Coaches to support the attendance, progress and achievement of Study Programme students through high-quality pastoral supportTo apply you need :Proven experience working in quality assurance and quality improvementSuccessful experience in delivery of vocational, technical, and applied qualifications across a range of awarding organisationsA Level 5 teaching qualification and a head for data, detail and deadlinesA calm, clear communicator who can build strong relationships across teams and with external stakeholdersCreative thinking skills, seeing quality not as a checklist, but as a cultureHave a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and continuous improvementTo commit to the role for 10 months.The successful candidate will be a member of the College Leadership Team, report directly to the Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality and will work collaboratively cross-college with a diverse and dedicated team so that our students go 'beyond ambition.'We are an inclusive and supportive employer and welcome applications from people who may not have a traditional Further Education career to date but, for example, may have transferable experience in industry training and development, and can demonstrate that they are a strong leader of people.
