We’re proud to share our story and Make Amazing Happen at CDW.Job SummaryAs the Head of Information Security for the UK and International business you will report into the global CISO and also dotted line into the Director of Technology for UK&I and will be accountable for all aspects of Information Security in the UK&I business. You will work as part of the global security leadership team to represent the UK&I business and as part of the UK&I Technology leadership team to implement global security best practices, protect our operations from threats and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.What you will doOwn and drive all aspects of Information Security across the UK&I businessBuild partnerships with UK&I leadership to ensure that local priorities and needs are understood while instilling a strong cybersecurity culture across the organisationAct as a senior member of the global Information Security team to represent UK&I priorities and needs and be the bridgehead for global initiatives to be successfully deployed in regionImplement and maintain security policies, protocols and measures across all platforms and locations, driving alignment with our global operating modelLead incident response efforts and manage the investigation of security breachesCollaborate with other Technology departments to ensure compliance with security standards, necessary security monitoring is in place and risks are proactively managedWork with sales teams and our customers to support them in understanding how CDW protects our customers’ information, including hosting calls and responding to RFP questions.Work with the Legal, Risk, Ethics and Compliance team to support management of broader business security risks, achievement and maintenance of government standards including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials + and respond to issuesEnsure strong security measures are embedded in the product development lifecycle, from design through deployment, aligning with industry best practices and global information security standards.Develop and implement meaningful metrics to evaluate progress and effectiveness of cybersecurity initiatives and capabilities. Regularly report on progress to senior management and stakeholders.Provide line management to the local Information Security team including recruiting outstanding diverse talent, managing performance, developing potential, supporting individuals and creating a cohesive unit with shared values and goalsWhat we expect of youMinimum basic requirementsTen or more years in cybersecurity roles in mid to large organisations, recently at or near executive levelStrong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management and incident response protocolsProven leadership capabilities including building diverse teamsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to a C-level audienceCommercial acumen with an awareness of the financial implications of decisions across Capex and Opex budgets and how they affect TCO and ROIA demonstrable track record of getting stuff done whilst managing competing pressures and deadlines and retaining an eye for detail and qualityA passion for technology and its ability to have a positive impact on businessSelf-driven, doesn’t require micro managementComfortable in fast-paced environments with occasionally shifting, ambiguous requirementsPassionate about both process and technology and the impact they can have on business and our customersArticulate and credibleQuality and detail orientatedPositive attitude and influence to othersFast learner and able to adapt to new technology and keep abreast of current industry trends and practiceExcellent communicator in all forms to key customer stakeholdersExcellent organisation and time management skills.Able to achieve potential, stay inspired and motivatedAble to drive an individual plan based on business strategyPreferred skills, experience, and qualities neededExperience working in a global, matrixed teamsProfessional security management qualification such as CISSP or equivalentExperience in an IT channel or vendor organisationM&A experienceWe make technology work so people can do great things.     CDW is a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
