Join us on the road aheadThis is a Hybrid remote/in-office position, based in our Birmingham studio.We are looking for a Director, Game Product Management, reporting to the VP/GM of the F1 Studio in Birmingham. You will partner with the Studio leadership team to oversee all operational aspects of the business, including establishing functional processes and improving operational efficiency.Role ResponsibilitiesAccomplish a clear vision for new franchise live service mode targeting player experience and business-driven goalsPromote the future direction and goals of the franchise to empower important partners when making decisions impacting multiple franchise years and the full project scopeReview data and make decisions on where the live service needs to focusCoordinate with creative director and producer/development director on implementing those changesCommunicate product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners to ensure integration of the Live Service mode with the wider UI/UX and feature setOversee commercial performance of the F1 Live Service businessAdvocate goal-driven feature design and roadmap planning across features, titles, and the F1 HD franchiseDevelop framework for economy design considering gameplay, genre, platform, and business modelUtilize expert understanding of acquisition, engagement, and monetization 'hooks' and 'levers' for live service performanceEstablish a culture of innovation, continuous learning, experimentation, and validationManage business planning and portfolio strategy across multiple F1 HD titlesLead the product management team overseeing daily project directionRequirementsAt least 5+ years of live service experience on previous titlesExpert understanding of game systems and their impact on indicatorsExpertise in economy management, with experience running economies for multiple titles over several years in live serviceWillingness to research and play other major Live Service implementations to understand the landscape and language of successful modesExperience working within large organizations and cross-collaborating across teamsExperience building multi-year strategies in cross-functional environmentsAbout Electronic ArtsWe’re proud to have an extensive portfolio of games and experiences, locations worldwide, and opportunities across EA.
