More recently our group of companies expanded its neurodiversity expertise and capabilities with acquisition of Psicon, a leading and rapidly growing provider of autism and ADHD assessments.Are you a qualified Lawyer seeking a part-time, flexible in-house opportunity? We have an amazing 9-month fixed-term contract (possibly leading to temp-to-perm) opportunity to join us as our Interim Legal Counsel on a part time basis. We can offer flexible hours over 3-4 days, and you can work remotely (but if you prefer to work from our head office in York, this is an option too).As Interim Legal Counsel you will support the Interim Head of Legal, as their first legal hire, with all legal matters across the Onebright Group, specifically Onebright and Psicon, providing practical legal guidance and advice across all areas including commercial (including IT / IP), data protection, compliance / risk, contentious matters, and group-level or intra-group agreements. You will help to develop legal know how, as well as tools to work with the business more efficiently. You will play a key role in continuing to build the Legal Department at the Onebright Group.What we need from youQualified lawyer, with prior experience of working in-house2 years of experience in commercial contracts and data protection mattersAble to work autonomously, be adaptable and prioritise effectivelyExcellent negotiating, drafting and organisational skillsStrong communicator who can articulate legal concepts and risks to non-legal colleagues in a clear and succinct wayAble to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the organisationExperience of working in the healthcare sector desirable but not essentialHow we say thank youAn exciting career is much more than just a salary.
