As one of the UK's fastest‑growing fintechs and the team behind Lovey – our new consumer credit platform – we’re building the future of responsible finance.We’re looking for a hands‑on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our tech strategy, drive sprint‑based delivery, and own data integrity across our lending platforms. This is a high‑impact role, reporting to the board and shaping the direction of both our B2B and B2C tech products.What You’ll DoDefine and execute the technology roadmap for our SME and consumer lending platformsLead and mentor a cross‑functional team of 7+ developersArchitect and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrationsOversee agile delivery cycles with clear outcomes and accountabilityEnsure platform compliance with FCA, CCA, and data protection regulationsManage third‑party tech partnerships (e.g., Simform, NexGen)Consolidate ownership of Lovey’s full technology ecosystemLead architectural design for data flow, resilience, and automation across lending systemsOversee sprint governance, partner performance, and system uptimeImplement robust data and cyber risk frameworks aligned with FCA expectationsRepresent technology and innovation strategy to investors and the boardTechnology Background of the CTOLanguages: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js), Dart (Flutter), SQL/MySQL, JSON, REST, GraphQLCloud and Data: Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Firestore, Pub/Sub)DevOps and Tooling: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, KubernetesMonitoring: Stackdriver, Grafana, PrometheusSecurity: OAuth2, SSO, IAM, ISO27001 alignment, penetration testingAnalytics and Integrations: ThoughtSpot, Provenir, LTi, HubSpot, Creditsafe, Experian, Wiserfunding, Hometrack, Infosys or TCS BaNCSRequirementsThe Essential Skills of the CTOCTO with proven track record leading technology strategy and delivery in a regulated fintech, lender, or bankMust have led teams under FCA or equivalent oversightKnowledge of Consumer Credit Act, FCA frameworks, operational resilience, and data protectionLeadership style that is accountable, delivery‑driven, collaborative, and goes beyond advisory capacityOperated in disciplined sprint environments, delivering measurable milestonesDeep technical credibility, able to architect, query, and debug dataStrong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GCP) and forensic data engineeringStrong communicator who can translate tech strategy into board‑level insightThe Desirable Skills of the CTOExperience working towards a banking licence or launching consumer credit productsFamiliarity with AI/ML, Open Banking, and embedded financeSMF24 CertifiedBenefitsJoin a high‑growth company where you can lead from the front and build technology that genuinely makes credit better for people and businesses. xpwpeyx Apply now to shape the future of fintech.#J-18808-Ljbffr
