You ll guide talented teams, raise standards, strengthen outcomes and play a key part in shaping an exceptional learning experience for our students.What you ll do:Lead and support English & ESOL teams, driving high-quality teaching and strong student outcomesOversee day-to-day operations including cover, staff recruitment, open evenings and examsUse data to monitor progress, identify issues and deliver impactful interventionsShape an agile, innovative curriculum that meets learner needs and local demandModel excellent teaching with your own reduced timetableManage resources, staffing and planning to ensure smooth deliveryBuild positive relationships with parents, employers and external partnersPromote an outstanding culture of safeguarding, behaviour, ambition and inclusionWhat we re looking for:Degree-level qualification plus a full Level 5 teaching qualificationStrong experience teaching English and/or ESOL in post-16 settingsProven ability to lead teams, improve quality and manage curriculum deliveryConfident using data to inform decisions and drive improvementExcellent communication, organisation and leadership skillsEnergy, resilience and a student-first mindsetCommitment to safeguarding, equality and the college s CAREs valuesWillingness to work across campusesWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sectors of the community.Please note that this vacancy may close before the published closing date if sufficient applications are received so if you are interested, please apply as soon as possible.
