We are an international insurer and reinsurer with a local presence in 27 countries.Primary DetailsTime Type: Full TimeWorker Type: EmployeePosition: Data Quality Lead (Permanent)Location: London / HybridThe OpportunityQBE EO is advancing its Data and Analytics capabilities through the implementation of Collibra for Data Governance and Ataccama for Data Quality. These applications support the automation of key Data Management activities: cataloguing, data lineage capture, data quality measurement, issue investigation, and master & reference data management.Your New RoleIn this role you will take ownership of the Finance Adjustments Governance process, aligning it with other finance and Data Quality processes, and contribute to the broader Data Management capabilities with a focus on high-quality data.Adjustment Specific ResponsibilitiesLead governance of Adjustments, creating an effective framework and structure for control.Provide governance over adjustments required between finance and actuarial systems.Manage the month‑end Adjustment transition from Finance to the Data Excellence team and optimise the process.Collaborate with business and technical teams—reservations managers, financial controllers, system owners—to document and resolve Adjustment issues.Automate the Adjustments process where possible using Ataccama and Collibra.Ensure Alignment with existing Data Quality processes and enforce best practices for tracking and raising Adjustments and issues.Chair the monthly Adjustments Working Group (AWG), refining Terms of Reference and ensuring appropriate representation.Communicate Adjustments clearly so stakeholders understand the implications of changes.Data Quality (DQ) Generic ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of QBE EO’s DQ Strategy across the data lifecycle.Define, embed, and run DQ Rules in Ataccama aligned with Business Rules in Collibra.
