This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced lawyer to shape the future of our family law offering in the region, working independently as the sole family practitioner on site.We’re seeking a skilled and confident lawyer who combines strong technical expertise with a talent for business development – someone who enjoys building lasting relationships, attracting new clients, and actively enhancing the firm’s presence in the local community.Key Responsibilities:Handling a broad range of private family matters including divorce, financial remedies, and children issues.Undertaking your own advocacy, where appropriate.Proactively networking and developing new business opportunities.Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key local referrers.Growing the department’s presence and reputation in Bournemouth.Optionally undertaking family mediation (desirable but not essential).What We’re Looking For:Ideally 5+ years PQE in family law.A confident and self-motivated practitioner able to work independently.Someone with an existing client/referrer following or demonstrable ability to develop one.A commercially-minded solicitor with the drive to develop and grow a caseload.Excellent communication and advocacy skills.Why Join Us?Dutton Gregory is a progressive, client-focused firm with a strong presence across the South.
