Head of Operations – Laveer EngineeringReady to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Company: Springfields Fuels Ltd, Salwick Preston, GB.We are building the future of nuclear energy with Westinghouse Electric Company.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the plant, developing and implementing strategies to improve safety, efficiency and productivity; champion adherence to safety, regulatory and company policies; analyse financial, production, maintenance, quality control and other operational reports to ensure business objectives are achieved.Champion and promote a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Systematic Leadership and other tools; identify and implement process improvements.Plan, develop and implement strategic planning of manufacturing goals, personnel development and business objectives; plan and schedule production activities to meet customer requirements; monitor and analyse production metrics to identify improvement areas.Deploy staff to balance individual development needs, organisational development goals and achieve maximum effectiveness for the business.Manage operational budgets; identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.Serve in a critical outward-facing role with direct interface to external partners including customers and regulators.Qualifications10+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations or operations support functions.Bachelor’s degree required.Certification in Lean Manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies preferred.BenefitsAttractive remunerationPeer-to-peer recognition programLife insuranceDC Pension planLearning and development opportunitiesEqual Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Females/Vets/Disability.Employment opportunities may require access to information subject to export control regulations of the United States.
