You will lead work that helps clients understand how converter‑based systems behave in real networks and what that means for design, performance and integration. Your insight will shape project decisions and support clients as they navigate an increasingly complex power system.You will be a recognised point of expertise within the team and a trusted advisor for clients. You will help set study approaches, guide technical direction and support the development of our consultants as we expand this service line. xpwpeyx What You Will DoCarry out and lead specialist HVDC system studies for developers, TSOs and OEMsBuild, test and refine EMT models using industry standard toolsAnalyse system behaviour and translate findings into clear, practical adviceCollaborate with colleagues across other disciplines to provide integrated supportProvide coaching and guidance to consultants in the teamContribute to proposals, scopes and wider business developmentPromote quality, learning and consistent ways of working within the groupWhat You BringStrong understanding of HVDC systems and converter‑based power networksHands‑on experience with EMT studies and associated modelling toolsAbility to explain complex behaviour clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiencesInterest in mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative teamA proactive, thoughtful approach to problem solvingGood communication skills and comfort working with clientsDegree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldChartered status is welcomed but not essentialAt PSC we want work to enhance your life, not dominate it.
