The scope of services is flexible and dependent upon the Client’s requirements, covering both CDM and H&S management.The key responsibilities are to:Understand and develop existing systems and processes to improve both CDM and H&S efficiencyProvide expert advice and act, where required, as Principal Designer to help clients manage and understand their legal responsibilities, in accordance with CDM regulationsEstablish positive relations with existing and new Clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocateRepresent Turner & Townsend professionally, negotiating and corresponding with Clients in a timely mannerManage all commissions, ensuring Client expectations, scope of service and Turner & Townsend’s business management system are effectively dischargedCarry out H&S performance reviews, audits and related activities on behalf of the ClientLiaise proactively with SHQ and wider Turner & Townsend colleagues to contribute to team effectiveness and ensure consistency, quality and profitability of shared projectsCompile and create relevant pre‑construction information and H&S filesQualificationsNEBOSH Construction CertificateFull UK driving licenceNEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent)GradIOSH or equivalentMembership of the APSExperience as a Principal DesignerExcellent communication skillsAbility to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlinesExtensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM RegulationsExperience of a diverse range of industry sectors is an advantageAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
