More than 22,000 scholars from 149 countries have benefited from its support, and each one carries a story of opportunity, ambition and change.The role:As Head of Partnerships and Impact, you’ll lead a major new workstream that brings alumni, partners and evidence together. You’ll design and launch the Trust’s first alumni engagement strategy, build a global community that feels connected and supported, and make sure the transition from scholar to alum is smooth and meaningful.You’ll also lead the implementation of a new impact framework, developing the Trust’s approach to data gathering, analysis and reporting. You’ll turn impact evidence into clear, engaging content and help colleagues weave insight into communications, donor reporting and strategic decisions.Alongside this, you’ll take responsibility for managing and growing the Trust’s diverse partnership portfolio. You’ll work with governments, foundations, philanthropists and institutional partners, ensuring each relationship is well supported, well understood and aligned with the Trust’s values.There is real scope here to shape direction, bring new ideas to life and contribute to the Trust’s long‑term strategy.What you’ll lead:You’ll scope, design and launch the Trust’s alumni programme, building a global network of thousands of scholars and creating an offer that feels relevant, meaningful and sustainable.Impact framework and insightYou’ll embed the Trust’s new impact strategy. You’ll develop processes for data collection and analysis, produce accessible reporting, and turn evidence into content that brings the Trust’s work to life.Partnership management and growthYou’ll oversee a portfolio of around 50 partners. You’ll guide partnership models, strengthen engagement, analyse partner priorities and identify opportunities for new or deeper collaboration.Partnership agreementsYou’ll lead negotiations, manage the renewal cycle and ensure agreements are clear, compliant and aligned with the Trust’s principles.You’ll stay close to trends in donor expectations, giving behaviours and impact measurement, making sure the Trust understands the landscape it operates in.Operational excellenceYou’ll produce high‑quality briefings for senior leaders, coordinate effectively across the University and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing culture.What you’ll bring:You don’t need to tick everything perfectly, but the role will suit you if you have most of the following:Experience taking a programme or product from concept to delivery.Knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation tools and methods.Confidence negotiating contracts and navigating risk.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret, translate and communicate data clearly.Excellent communication skills, including presenting complex ideas in simple terms.Experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders, ideally in education, international development or the non‑profit sector.Understanding of CRM systems and data visualisation tools.A strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate opportunities and challenges.A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in education and social impact.Why this role mattersThe Trust’s work changes lives, strengthens Cambridge and creates ripples across communities worldwide.
